From country clubs and yacht clubs to back yards, and nightclubs, Lanie Mac always delivers the same top quality entertainment regardless of the location or the event. An internship at WXKS Kiss 108fm in 1987 was where is all began, or was it DJ’ing her cousins birthday party from a home stereo system.  Both experiences confirmed that Lanie knew she wanted DJ.  She continued to produce the on-air radio show for KISS 108’s DJ, Lady D (currently of Star 93.7) through her college years. Lanie attended the College of Boca Raton/ now Lynn University in Florida and Loyola University in New Orleans. She earned her B.A. degree from Salem State College, Salem MA.  Lanie has always had a radio show in college and gained most of her experience from working for other DJ’s companies in New England.   After several years in the corporate world in sales and marketing she decided she wanted to DJ full time and fulfill her vision to start her own business. That vision became a reality and took off with much success.  Lanie Mac Music continues to grow and produce successful parties and events.   She enjoys being part of each and every celebration and has a lively energy about her.  When Lanie is in charge of the music, everyone just seems to have a great time, because she’s having a great time. In addition to her professional endeavors, Lanie has coached the YMCA youth swim team, volunteered on several marketing boards including the Association for the Blind and the YMCA of the North Shore’s annual fundraising gala committee.  In her free time, Lanie enjoys, sailing, skiing, tennis, concerts and of course, the Red Sox! She is originally from Swampscott, MA and comes from a large family who has been known to “cut a rug” on more than one occasion!  Lanie understands how much effort and time go into planning parties and events and knows people want to have a great time.  Lanie Mac wants to too.
